I spent three months on Eniwetok Atoll in the Pacific with Bill. He taught me how to play bridge, a game I enjoy to this day. Thank you so much, Bill. Hope you now enjoy an endless supply of San Miguel beer!

I knew Bill during our assignment at Forbes AFB both professionally and socially. As a professional he exemplified the best of a military officer;caring for the welfare of those serving under him while getting the job done. Bill did both well.Socially, when Bill and I engaged in friendly gambling at the Officers Club bar, his integrity and love for his mission in the USAF was apparent and lives with me today. I cherish his memory and those that survive him can hold great pride in being part of his family.

I knew Bill when he was installing electronic ground stations in Ethiopia. No matter how difficult, dangerous or challenging the task, he could always get the job done. I was always impressed by his accomplishments. He was a fine man and a first rate photo-mapper.

Bill was one of my favorite people. He taught me what it means to be a "Photomapper". My wife, Judy, and I send our condolences.
